Although I came from a positive home, my own childhood was spent growing up in a negative community, which is why I developed bad habits. I changed myself. Now, I have made it my mission to make every child’s home a peaceful, kind, and loving place. I myself have had the experience of living on the street and being homeless. Thanks to the kindness of many people, I was spared a life of anger and resentment. Instead, I have made it my goal to teach people how to love, be grateful, hopeful, and tolerant towards others.

Over the course of my lifetime, the biggest lesson I have learned is that when you help others, you are helping yourself.

Some of the best people in my life are my grandma, grandpa, my aunt, and my cousin Gee. These are the people who always had kind words for me and never let me stray from the light.I have listened to their advice and done what they told me: read the Bible and do good. I signed up with the church because I wanted to turn my life around and learn something positive.

I have gone door to door to teach people. I have helped built churches. I have put hundreds of thousands of books in homes in Jamaica.

I am truly thankful that my life is a life well spent.
